I find myself with so many ideas that I want to try out or create every day... some of the lucky ones get to come to fruition. Some are still a work in progress.

I lead the Interfaces Development team within Space Operations at SpaceX. One of my team's responsibilities is to determine what content is needed on the crew displays to support crew Dragon mission to the International Space Station.

I was a NAV operator in mission control for SpaceX missions CRS-1 through CRS-6, working with the mission operations team to deliver cargo to the astronauts on the International Space Station and to return other items back to Earth for NASA.

I practice yoga and meditation regularly to help me stay balanced and connected.. and grateful! I was a volunteer yoga instructor at work for 2 years to help others find their balance and peace.

On one of my first solo trips out of the US I asked a guy at the bar in Costa Rica where he was from. He said, "Argentina". I said, "Oh, I haven't been there. What's it like? Should I go?" He said, "Of course you should go." After a brief pause he continued: 

"It's your world. You should know it."

I started off in undergrad as a Mechanical Engineering major, switched to Digital Arts and Science for a semester or two so I could take art classes, and then finished up my degree. The art classes led me to spend a summer in Rome, Italy studying Roman Classics and learning Italian. I went back for a Masters in Aerospace Engineering and took some of my favorite elective classes (like Neural Networks). I've continued to take classes at Johns Hopkins, UCLA, Art Center, and Berkeley in numerical optimization, sustainable gardening, urban food production, furniture design, and the science of happiness. I have a feeling this will continue indefinitely. :)

Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. It's taken many forms over the years; it seems to evolve with me.
